(San Diego Creative Investors Association, Inc.) does not give legal, tax, economic, or investment advice. SDCIA disclaims all liability for the action or inaction taken or not taken as a result of communications From or to its members, officers, directors, employees and contractors. Each person should consult their own counsel, accountant and other advisor's as to legal, tax, economic, investment, and related matters concerning Real Estate and other investments.
SDCIA takes every precaution to protect our guest’s/member’s (customer) information. When customers submit sensitive information via website, that information is protected. When a form on our site asks customers to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. Furthermore our credit card processing is done via a third party process service, Solupay Consulting, Inc., which is equally committed to privacy and security and maintains Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards or PCI DSS for all SDCIA authorized transactions. PCI DSS is the bankcard industry’s most stringent security standard. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect customer information off-line. Only the board members that need the information to perform a specific job (treasurer or customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
